Insulated Sectional Garage Door, Harrogate

We often get asked if we can make the garage drive through wider. This job, just outside Harrogate, is a great example if you have two single Garage Doors.

We have our own builder who takes down the middle pillar, installs a new steel beam and puts the bricks or stones back above the beam. We then normally install a Sectional Garage Door as this type of door is 42mm insulated giving it maximum strength and thermal performance.

We feel this is the best type of Garage Door for the new width of the garage opening as it fits behind the opening adding an extra 150mm of drive-through width to the already much-improved access.

The door installed was a GDS Insulated Sectional Garage Door in medium rib finished in Smooth Traffic White (RAL 9016) with an Automation by a remote control unit.
