Rapid Rise PVC Door & Fire Shutter, Hull

Two High-Speed PVC Shutter Doors were installed to a corridor from the old factory to a new storage facility based in Hull, protected by an electrically controlled Fire Shutter.

Following a fire, the fire shutter received the fire alarm signal and lowered under a controlled descent, preventing the fast spread of smoke to the goods out zone.

The shutter created a 2-hour fire barrier stopping the fire spreading. The link corridor was cleaned down & business continued from the clean goods area following the fire.
